Memorial Day 2015 – Where It All Began. Maybe.

Is there anything more patriotic than attending the National Memorial Day Concert, hosted by Lieutenant Dan Gary Sinise, live on the Capitol Building’s Lawn while knitting socks for one’s Civil War soldier, surrounded by sirens because there was a “suspicious package” a block away? I didn’t think so.

Quick Update

Dear reader(s),

This quick post is to say that I’m not dead yet! Real life got unexpectedly crazy but I’ve got a ton of posts planned. I WILL finish my Ireland posts! There’s also some ANZAC stuff! And the three weekends in April I spent doing Appomattox stuff! So much time, so little research! Wait, stop, reverse that …

Until then, I’ll probably be stress eating.
